Rond deze tijd worden de terug betaalde bedragen op m'n KIVA account bijgeschreven en natuurlijk geef ik dan weer een lening uit. Deze maand aan Maria Cecilia uit Honduras:

María specializes in making and selling ‘cameras’ (bedspreads), drapes and furniture slipcovers. María has a second business making tamales to sell around the neighborhood. She started her businesses five years ago investing her severance pay from a previous job into them. She does not have much competition in the zone so she’s done well in her businesses. She requested this L5500 loan to buy fabric and thread to make the ‘cameras.’
