Petrona is 52 years old and married. She did not have the opportunity to go to school. She has six children, two of whom are in school. She earns her living making aprons, a trade she got into because she needed to help her husband with the academic expenses of their children who are in school. She currently has ten years of experience. She has her husband's support; he earns his living weaving traditional fabrics.
They have organized a group to request a loan that they will use to purchase fabrics, cones of yarn, embellishments, and other decorations for the work Petrona does. In the future, she hopes to have greater production and for her husband to have more looms to produce wholesale weavings.
The other members work in handicrafts, livestock production, and commerce.
